2011 CHOC Walk

To all who have supported this amazing cause,

I want to first and foremost thank you for your generous gift! Each year, the Children's Hospital of Orange County continues to advance its mission of continuing its leadership role in ensuring the health and well-being of children and their families living in Orange County. Named one of the best children’s hospitals by U.S. News & World Report (2011-2012), CHOC Children's is exclusively committed to the health and well-being of children through clinical expertise, advocacy, outreach and research that brings advanced treatment to pediatric patients. As a medical scribe of St. Joseph's Hospital and Children's Hospital of Orange County, I am very proud to support this cause! Thanks once again for continuing to improve the health and lives of the children in our community! Check out the pictures below!

Sincerely,
Sean Guerrero

Hello everyone, I will be walking on Sunday, October 16th for the 21st Anniversary of the CHOC Walk in the Park and “Let the Memories Begin.” It’s a celebration of the continuous support CHOC Children’s and CHOC Children’s at Mission Hospital have received from our community. It's a time for families to thank the doctors and nurses that cared for their children and share their stories with other families. As a medical scribe of St. Joseph's Hospital and Children's Hospital of Orange County, I am proud to support this cause! Help me and our hospital continue to improve the health and lives of the children in our community! Thank you for your continued support! Proceeds from this event will support health care programs, education and research at CHOC Children's Hospital!

2011 AIDS Walk

To those who sponsored me,

Thank you for your generous donation to the 25th Annual AIDS Walk in Orange County!  Contributions received will help nine recipient agencies, including the AIDS Services Foundation (ASF) to provide exceptional client care and healthy and effective HIV prevention services to all of Orange County.

Many of you are wondering why I wanted to support the AIDS community. As some of you may know, I currently work in the Emergency Department at St. Joseph's Hospital in Orange County. As a scribe, it is my job to document all of the patient's history, information and details as to why he or she is in the ER that day. Patients who are coming in because of bone fractures and lacerations are of the norm to me. Those who are in the ER because of drug abuse, drug detox, alcohol consumption or even those who are brought in by the Orange Police Department, I easily lose respect for. It's those patients who are continually struggling and fighting to stay alive that keeps me going and keeps me on the track to pursuing my medical career. Patients who have some form of cancer, AIDS, some rare disease and those children who don't deserve the life they have been given, etc. - they are the ones that deserve a chance, they are the ones that deserve the help from the community, they are the ones that need our help. They are the people who constantly remind me of the blessed life that I have been given and this is the reason why I have chosen to give back. Thank you so much for your donation and know that your generosity is greatly appreciated!

Your gift is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. AIDS Walk Orange County is a registered 501(c)3 organization, Tax ID #33-0126481.

Thank you once again,
Sean Guerrero
